One day the Buddha received a gift from one of his youngest disciples, a “mala” or meditation chaplet made of amethyst, to be rolled under the fingers as mantras are recited.
Seeing the offering, accompanied by lavender leaves and Tibetan incense, tears of joy pearled down the cheeks of the spiritual master, moved as much by the young giver’s purity as by that of the stones.
Amethyst has since been known as the Buddha stone, enveloped in a halo of serenity. Its violet luminescence is appeasing, balancing, and sharpens spiritual clarity.
The purifying scent of silver anouk lavender and sage enlivened by copaiba copal.
